This collection contains published and unpublished material on the administration of camping in national and state parks and the management of campgrounds.

The Harpers Ferry Center Library has a special collection of late 19th and early 20th century trade literature, which includes many catalogs of camping equipment, and motor campers from the 1920's and 1930's.

Box 3 "Campground Reservations"
This box includes material on the search for a campground reservation system for the NPS. Holdings include transcripts of oversight hearings in Congress, contract documents for the system as well as responses to the RFP. Also included is the following report:
