Wayside Base Installation

Wayside bases are typically installed by park maintenance staff. To assist with installation, instructional step-by-step videos are available below.

NPS UniGuide Bases (2005-2008)

This 22-minute video shows in-ground installation of UniGuide wayside exhibit bases which are equipped with fins on their legs.

Gravel and backfill are used to set the legs.

The video is available either with no captions or with both captions and audio description.

 


Full Full Frame Bases (1985-Present)
