The double-post base uses flat-bar posts instead of tubular posts found on larger upright and low-profile wayside exhibit bases. Panels slide in and out of a frame like the low-profile and upright exhibits.

Alumi-stake

Painted Aluminum (NPS Brown/NPS Medium Gray)

The alumi-stake is a light weight, lower cost alternative to the double post base. It it very portable, which makes it ideal for movable identification. Made of a single piece of solid 1/8-or 1/4-inch painted aluminum, the alumi-stake can be mounted (without cement) in dirt or surface mounted—can be held in place with stones or logs. Panel is adhered to the aluminum surface with silicone adhesive.
