Plan & Research

Do you have an exhibit or furnishings project that is stalled because park staff are just too busy to do the research? Harpers Ferry Center curators have researched projects from forts to stores to saloons at parks from Alaska to the Virgin Islands. We have experience in all periods of American History, from the first settlements through the twentieth century.

Are you missing a single object, or do you have a large historic house to fill? Harpers Ferry Center has curators who specialize in military history, lighting, ceramics, carpets, wallpapers, and window treatments. We also have considerable experience acquiring the unusual, like objects for machine shops, electrotherapy rooms, lighthouses, jails, or courtrooms.
