Entrance fees

There is no charge to visit Herbert Hoover National Historic Site, which includes the Birthplace Cottage, Blacksmith Shop, Schoolhouse, Friends Meetinghouse, Gravesite, and Tallgrass Prairie.

Admission to the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum is:

$6.00 for adults, ages 16 to 61.

$3.00 for senior citizens, over 61 years old.

Free for children under 16 years old and for members of the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library Association.

 

America the Beautiful-Federal Recreational Lands Passes

America the Beautiful-Federal Recreational Lands Passes, such as the Senior Pass, Access Pass, and Annual Pass, are for sale at the Visitor Center.

 

Picnic shelters 

Picnic shelters may be used for free on a first-come, first-served basis or they may be reserved for $25.00.

 

Group tours

Guided tours for schools and organized groups may be reserved through the Presidential Library and Museum by calling (319) 643-5301.

School groups may visit Herbert Hoover National Historic Site and the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum free of charge. See Plan A Field Trip for more about visiting with your school group.
