New applicants MUST submit the following FIVE items:

1. U.S. Government Standard Form OF-612 (PDF) or Resume
   
   • include social security number and birth date
   • include all paid as well as unpaid experience which qualifies you for the position
   • You DO NOT have to specify whether you wish to work for HABS, HAER or HALS
     
     
2. College Transcript
   
   
3. Letter of Recommendation from a faculty member or recent employer.
   
   
4. Appropriate Work Samples of the following:
   
   • freehand sketching
   • hand lettering
   • precision hand and/or computer-aided drafting ability
     
   Applicants are evaluated on ALL THREE SKILLS. Full-size reproductions are strongly recommended. Please include your name on your work samples and label all submissions as to media and technique (e.g. ink-on-mylar, hand-drafted pencil on vellum, AutoCAD 2005 drawing). Do not submit slides or digital files. Do not submit originals (work samples will not be returned).
   
   
5. Computer Background and Experience Form (PDF)
   NOTE: It is anticipated that most projects will utilize CAD.
