PARK NEWS:
As of October 1, 2004 - New Cabin Fee system will be in
effect. Cabins reserved starting on October 1st will fall under the new
flat-rate system of $75.00 per night. See Wilderness

20th, 2004 - New original artwork now hangs in the Headquarters
Visitor Center entry! Artist Sophie Cayless' mural of the native and endemic
plants and animals of Haleakala allows a new glimpse into the hidden treasures
of the mountain.
