Things To Know Before You Come
The occupancy level of the historically furnished floor is limited to 15 persons at any time.
Please note the historically furnished floor can only be seen with a ranger during open house
Scheduled Guided tours are filled on a first-come-first-served basis each operating day.
Restrooms are available on site.
Books and other items suitable for all ages are available for purchase in the visitor center bookstore.
Exhibit gallery highlighting Hamilton's major achievements is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wheelchair lift is available to the mobility impaired visitor upon request when arriving.
There is no on-street parking on 141st Street between Convent and St. Nicholas Avenues; parking garages are available in the adjacent neighborhood.
Hamilton Grange is extremely convenient to a number of public transportation options.
No food or drink is permitted anywhere inside the home.
Backpacks and other large bags are not permitted in the historically furnished rooms.
No pets of any kind are allowed inside Hamilton Grange.
Visitors must leash and clean up after their pets on the grounds.
Group events, including picnics, must go through an application process and review in order to be considered for a permit. Please call 212-825-6990 for more information.
