National Park Week

Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar announced recently that all 392 national parks will have free admission during National Park Week, April 17 to 25.

A listing of all park activities is available at www.nps.gov/npweek.

Harpers Ferry National Historical Park offers guided tours on April 17, 18, 24 and 25 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Visitors who want to explore the park on their own can lace up their hiking boots or just put on a comfortable pair of sneakers and hit one or more of our 18 miles of trails that include mountains, gently rolling fields and flat walking--trails for everyone! For more information on trails click here or ask at the Visitor Center for trail maps.
