Tips on How to Enjoy a Happy & Safe Fourth of July 2008 at the
George Washington Memorial Parkway

  • Ramps from Virginia Route 110 to Memorial Avenue will be closed at 6:00 a.m. on July 4. (Visitors may access Arlington National Cemetery by vehicle from Virginia Route 110.)
  • The area from Memorial Bridge to Memorial Circle will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 6:00 a.m. to
    10:00 p.m. on July 4.
  • Eastbound Route 50 ramps to George Washington Memorial Parkway will be closed beginning at 3:00 p.m.
