Fort Hunt Concert Series for 2008

Come on out to Fort Hunt Park this summer for some toe-tappin' fun! Listen to blues, Motown/R&B, folk, swing, pop/rock/country, and concert music during the Fort Hunt Concert Series. Concerts will be held on Sunday evenings from June 22 - July 27, 2008, from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.

The park is located approximately 6 miles south of Old Town Alexandria along the George Washington Memorial Parkway in Virginia.

July 6 - Signature Live! (Motown/R&B)

July 13 -  United States Army Band (Pop/Rock/Country)

July 20 -  Laurie Rose Griffith & Peter Mealy (Folk)

July 27 - Mount Vernon Swing Band

August 3 - NEW! German Band

August 10 - NEW! Laissez Foure (Jazz) Celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the George Washington Memorial Parkway as a National Park Service Site
