Arlington Memorial Bridge and Memorial Circle will be closed for the Rolling Thunder XXV First Amendment Demonstration Run. Please be flexible to increased traffic and potential closures in the area all weekend.
Trail Counts
Trail demographics during periods of peak use, weekends and workday rush hours. Male bicyclists make up the largest user group and the ratio of male to female bicyclists is 3:1. The ratio of male to female pedestrians is 1:1.

Typical workday trail use. Rush hours are between 7-9 am and 4-7 pm on the northern end of the trail. In these examples, the total number of people on a workday is about 75% of total use on a weekend day.

Typical Sunday trail congestion on the north end of the trail. Total number of people per hour averages 450 on a nice weekend day. Bicycle use is much greater than pedestrian use on the weekend.
