Be A Junior Ranger

Are you ready to join the ranks of the National Park Service Junior Rangers? Junior Rangers explore, learn about, and protect national parks. They wear a special badge that they earn by proving that they know their national park and taking the Junior Ranger pledge. You can become a Junior Ranger by completing one of the activities described below.

 

Come to Junior Ranger Day

National Junior Ranger Day is April 20, 2013. Come to Belle Haven Park in the morning or the US Marine Corps War Memorial in the afternoon for hands-on activities and a chance to earn your Junior Ranger badge. If you have already earned a badge, you can earn a special sticker or patch. Call 703-289-2553 for more information.
