The George Washington Carver Birthplace Association (CBA) is a nonprofit organization established to assist in advancing the historical, scientific, educational and interpretive programs of the National Park Service at George Washington Carver National Monument. Proceeds from the sales of gift shop items are used for these programs and the preservation of this historical site.

Did You Know?
When the Carver family settled in southwest Missouri, much of the land was tallgrass prairie. Through the years, the land was converted to agricultural uses. Today, the park is home to restored areas of beautiful tallgrass prairie.
