Guided Tours
 
Guided tours are offered daily at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The 3/4-mile Carver Nature Trail is partially paved and is wheelchair accessible. Allow for an hour on the trail! 
 
Carver Nature Trail
The Carver Nature Trail consists of a woodland and prairie landscapes.  A spring-fed pond and clear running creeks enhance the beauty of the trail.

Ash Hopper at the historic 1881 Moses Carver House

Did You Know?
Visitors will see an ash hopper at the historic 1881 Moses Carver House. The early settlers mixed cold fireplace ash with rain water in the hopper. The caustic mixture became lye. Animal fat was added for making lye soap. George used lye soap when he operated his laundry business.
