10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Come and celebrate life on the prairie during the late 19th century. Musical entertainment, nature exhibits, storytelling and a variety of living history demonstrations are the highlights of the event. Visitors are invited to dip candles, churn butters, tour the prairie in a horse-drawn wagon, and much more!

Recycled plastic and sawdust can be very useful. Many of the bridges at George Washington Carver National Monument are built from sawdust and recycled plastic.
