Carver Day Celebration-July 9, 2011 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Celebrating the 1943 establishment of George Washington Carver National Monument, this event features ranger-led programs interpreting the life of George Washington Carver. Guest speakers, musical groups, a junior ranger station, and exhibitors are also included. Location: park grounds and visitor center. |
