Students investigate the role that National Park rangers play in managing natural resources.The process and scientific method of field biology are demostrated through the studies of herpetology and ichthyology.
1) students will learn about the special adaptations that allow fish and salamanders to thrive in the Smokies
2) students will learn how park resource managers study fish and salamanders
3) students will become familiarwith the scientific method.
