Science of the Month Club

Rangers are available to come to your classroom during the fall and winter months to help supplement your in-class curriculum. All programs are free and run 45-60 minutes. Get a few teachers together (or your whole school!) to coordinate multiple classrooms on each day.

Lesson plans are directly correlated to Colorado Content Standards and given in the following order:

  • Astronomy - September
  • Earth Science - October
  • Life Science - November
  • Physical Science - January

Additional lessons may be developed for individual teacher needs.

Teachers outside the San Luis Valley may request programs as long as multiple classes are involved.

Download the Science of the Month Club Flyer (.pdf file, 323 kb) for more details and program descriptions.

For more information, email the Education Ranger or call 719-378-6344.
