Cooperating Association

The Glacier Natural History Association (GNHA), established in 1946, has provided 60 years of educational and interpretive support to the National Park Service.

GNHA is a nonprofit cooperating association of the National Park Service. GNHA helps to support Grant-Kohrs Ranch's educational, interpretive, cultural and scientific programming needs with aid generated by bookstore sales. The coal fire in the blacksmith shop may burn hotter than 2200 degrees, but that’s too hot for the iron. An inattentive blacksmith’s work can be destroyed if there are “too many irons in the fire.”
