Visitor Center and Park Information

Please be aware that the site is an operating cattle ranch. Ranching equipment and livestock may be moving through public areas. Also, the railroad tracks running through the site are active. Please be aware of your surroundings as you explore so you can safely enjoy the ranch.

Printed brochures and informational handouts are available in the Visitor Center. A text only copy of the Park Brochure is also available to view or download on the Text Only Park Brochure webpage.

The historic wagon and buggy collection is on display in the 1883 Thoroughbred Barn.  Written exhibits allow visitors to read about the history of each item.

Exhibits

Exhibits with written text are located in the Visitor Center, Bunkhouse Row, Granary, Ice House/Tack Room, Garage/Blacksmith Shop, Thoroughbred Barn, Leeds Lion Barn, Stallion Barn, and Buggy Shed. Wayside exhibits with images and written text are located throughout the park along walking paths.

Ranch House Tours and Ranger Talks

For visitors with hearing difficulty, assisted listening devices are available. These may be worn on Ranch House tours and ranger talks. They are available for loan free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Check at the visitor center for availability upon your arrival.
