ATV Regulations

The operation of off-road motor vehicles, also known as All Terrain Vehicles (ATV’s) or Off-Highway Vehicles (OHVs), is allowed only on designated roadways.  Vehicles must be properly registered and street legal.  Off-road travel is strictly prohibited.  Please call the Visitor Center, 775-234-7331 x212 for more information.

Great Basin Rattlesnake

Did You Know?
Great Basin rattlesnakes (Crotalus oreganus lutosus) are the only venomous snake species in Great Basin National Park. These rattlesnakes rarely exceed 40 inches in total length, reproduce every two to three years, and feed primarily on rodents and lizards.
