General Information
Every summer, Great Basin National Park offers a workshop for educators who teach about the Great Basin. The workshops bring field experts to the park to teach about their fields of expertise. While teachers are the intended audience for the workshops, the workshops focus more on content than teaching methodology.

The workshops are typically 5 days long and take place in June or July. The focus of the workshops changes each year, so that over time all aspects of the Great Basin are covered. Time is spent in the classroom and in the field. The target audience is middle school teachers, but all educators are welcome, as the information given can be adapted to any age group.
