Golden Spike National Historic Site is pleased to celebrate the holiday season by hosting it's annual Winter Steam Festival.

This event gives visitors a chance to see one of our locomotives in action, at the same spot where the transcontinental railroad was completed over 143 years ago. Visitors can also take opportunities to explore the railroad museum, watch films, and participate in other special events not regularly offered throughout the winter season.

Make sure to be prepared for the cool weather and high winds that are possible at our site. Check back for additional details concerning this event.
