VIP (Volunteer in Park) Daniel C. Krebs has volunteered for Governors Island National Monument since 2006 and has contributed over 500 volunteer hours and thousands of digital images for use in park publications.

Mr. Krebs` interest in photography began at the age of 10 when his grandfather gave him his first camera. "I am passionate about photography as my way of expressing myself creatively," says Krebs.
