Governors Island National Monument will Re-open for the Summer Season 2007.

Open House New York is quoted as "America's largest architecture and design event!"

Governors Island is closed for the season.

Access to the Island, including guided Park Ranger programs will resume in the Summer of 2007. 

Please check back here or contact the park at 212-825-3045 for our re-opening date.

Governors Island will again be participating in the Open House New York event on Saturday, October 7th and Sunday, October 8th, 2006.

This will be the last opportunity to visit the island before the 2007 Summer Season.
