Governors Island has witnessed events that changed a city, nation, and world. Grab your bicycle and discover where those events happened and learn about the people who experience them!
A limited number of free bikes are available for public use. A ticket reserving one of these bikes may be picked up in the on-Island bookstore from 10am - 12pm. Please bring your ticket to the gazebo at 12:15 so a Ranger can assist you in arranging for a bicycle for the tour (all bicycles must be returned at the end of the tour).

Kids can earn an official Governors Island Junior Ranger Badge for participating.
