Interested in having a National Park Ranger visit your classroom?

A park ranger classroom visit is a great way to prepare students for a trip to Governors Island, and introduce them to the nationwide National Park system. Lesson plans are designed to prep students for their field trip program, whose primary focus is typically the diverse local histories of Governors Island's involvement in the Civil War. Some flexibility may be possible to adapt the visit to your curriculum.

Class visits are subject to the availability of our busy staff. Please call our office at 212-825-3045, or contact Park Ranger Kevin Credo by email at kevin_credo@nps.gov to arrange a visit or request more information.
