Golden Gate National Recreation Area and the Presidio to Participate in National Missing Children's Day with a Child Safety Event
None of the information is kept by the participating agencies. Everything that is gathered during the event is given to the parent or guardian to take home for safekeeping.
This event is a joint effort with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association- San Francisco Chapter 26, US Park Police, National Park Service, Presidio Trust and Sports Basement.
National Missing Children's Day has been commemorated in the United States in May, since 1983, when it was first proclaimed by President Ronald Reagan.
