Marin Equestrian Stables Plan

Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) has completed an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Marin Equestrian Stables Plan. The Plan/EA proposes options for the future use of four Marin County stables located on GGNRA land in the Marin Headlands (Rodeo Valley), Tennessee Valley, and Muir Beach. The plan proposes actions to improve Best Management Practices and site planning, increase protection of natural resources, and preserve the cultural resources that abound at the stables.

A public open house meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 from 5pm to 7pm, with a presentation at 6pm, at the Tamalpais Valley Community Center. Please click Meeting Notices on the left side of this page for more information.

The Plan/EA will be open for public review and comment from November 1 to December 16, 2011. Comments may be submitted in any of the following ways:
