Project Review is an ongoing program by which GGNRA reviews and approves many other projects that can be categorically excluded from NEPA compliance. Planning staff also review proposals other agencies and municipalities within or adjacent to the park (i.e., Caltrans, PG&E, city planning agencies).

Did You Know?

Horseshoe Cove at Fort Baker

During World War II, Fort Baker’s Horseshoe Cove was home to the Mine Planting Depot, where soldiers loaded dynamite into electrically-triggered mines that were then arranged in the water just outside the Golden Gate Bridge.
