Short-Term Lease (Event Rental Space)

What is a Short-Term Lease?

Short-Term Leases are used by the National Park System to rent out certain properties for a short period of time (less than 60 days, typically less than one day) at an hourly rate for appropriate uses. The main uses for such leases include family gatherings, conferences, birthday parties, catered meals, and other small gatherings. GGNRA now has two buildings available for a Short-Term Lease.

Building 989

Building 989 is located next to the Crissy Field Warming hut in San Francisco, California. The 1015 sq ft. space offers a 50 person capacity conference style room with large doors that open up to views of the Golden Gate Bridge, 10 folding tables, 50 chairs, and an accessible all gender restroom.

Building 1050 Fort Cronkhite

Building 1050 Fort Cronkhite is located in the Marin Headlands in Sausalito, California near Rodeo Beach. The 1150 sq ft. space offers a 50 person capacity conference style room with barn doors that open up to views of Rodeo Lagoon and beach, 10 folding tables, 50 chairs, a patio with picnic tables, and an accessible all gender restroom.

Rates

Both buildings requre a 3 hour minimum to reserve. Weekday rates (Monday-Thursday, excluding Holidays) are $150 per hour, Weekend(Friday, Saturday, Sunday)/Holiday rates are $200 per hour.

The Business Management Division office is located on the San Francisco Bay in Fort Mason at the intersection of Bay and Franklin. Our office is located in Building 201 (GGNRA headquarters) and is generally accessible to persons with disabilities.
