New Safety Measures in "Permit Parking Only" Lot at Glen Echo Park

The National Park Service is implementing a number of measures to improve safety of the small "permit parking only" lot at 7300 MacArthur Blvd. Speed bumps have been added to the lot and the direction of traffic is being changed to "one way" around the lot. These measures will improve the safety of all who use the parking lot.

An electronic message board will be in place for approximately two weeks to inform park visitors of the new traffic pattern. This small parking lot is "permit parking only" from 8am to 4pm daily.  A large parking lot located on Oxford Road is open for parking (no permits needed) when Glen Echo Park is open (6am--1am).New Visitor Information Signs Installed at Clara Barton NHS & Glen Echo Park.

The National Park Service is installing new visitor information signs at Clara Barton National Historic Site and Glen Echo Park. The work will take place over the next two weeks. These signs will help visitors locate the different classes, programs, and historic structures in both areas and provide brief information as to each site's historic significance.

For further information please contact Polly Angelakis, Site Manager, Clara Barton NHS & Glen Echo Park (301-320-1400).

The mailing address of Glen Echo Park is 7300 MacArthur Boulevard, Glen Echo, Maryland 20812. However, our parking lot is located at 5801 Oxford Road.
