A road collapse south of Page has closed US-89 until further notice. US-89 is closed northbound at US-89A. In Page, US 89 is closed at the junction with State Route 98. Traffic is being detoured around closure utilizing SR-98 & US-160. US-89A is open. More »

Artist Anita Dallar
Rattlers & Slash Pines Anita Dallar, Wahweap October 2012 Anita Dallar has a Bachelors Degree in Studio Art with an emphasis in printmaking from San Jose State University in California where she received a scholarship in intaglio printmaking. She also holds an Associates Degree in Art History and Florida Professional Educators Certificates in Art and ESE Education. Anita is an avid outdoors person with a deep reverence for wildlife and the environment, she believes in protecting and preserving our planets fragile natural beauty. A combination of research, exploration, and artistic processes, coupled with the intuitive nature of creativity, contribute to her style of "abstracted realism". In addition to being a visual artist, Anita has a published anthology of poetry entitled "Dreams and Visions", teaches K-12 visual art classes through the "Center for Diversified ART", and plays the 5-string banjo as a hobby. Her mixed media collages are exhibited nationally, part of corporate and private collections, and have been published in several magazines.
