City of Page, AZ

Glen Canyon's headquarters building is located at the southern end of the park in the city of Page, Arizona. Page is located 2 miles (3.2 km) from the dam and Carl Hayden Visitor Center, offers most common goods and services like stores, motels, restaurants, churches, hospital, and museum. There are also other recreation-related services, including boat and vehicle storage, boat, RV, and automobile repair. Page can be reached by surfaced roads year-round, and by air from Phoenix. City of Escalante, UT

The gateway to our wilderness area, Escalante offers gear and foods for the overland traveler.

Gas Stations

Land-based gas stations are located within the park at Wahweap, Bullfrog, Halls Crossing. There are numerous gas stations in the city of Page. There is a gas station in Marble Canyon AZ near Lees Ferry.There are gas stations located in Ticaboo UT, about 10 miles north of Bullfrog on Highway 276.

Boat gas is available at the marinas at Antelope Point, Wahweap, Bullfrog, and Halls Crossing. Some of these locations are seasonal.

Convenience Stores

There are land-based convenience stores at Wahweap and Halls Crossing. There are also convenience stores at the marinas at Antelope Point, Wahweap, Bullfrog, and Halls Crossing.

Post Office

There is a post office in the city of Page, AZ with full postal services available. There is a post office in Bullfrog, UT with limited postal services available.

 

Concessions & Partners

Park concessioners offer boat repair and dry storage, as well as launch and retrieval at most marinas. At the current time, Hite has NO services of any kind.

Powell Museum & Archives
For services and tour opportunities outside of Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, inquire at the Powell Museum & Archives. The museum is located in Page, on the corner of Lake Powell Boulevard and North Navajo Street, right next to Glen Canyon Conservancy's flagship store.
