Update on Boating Accident on Lake Powell Victim Recovered

Page, AZ – At 10:47 a.m. Monday, April 27, the body of Mr. Terry Michael Taranto of Prescott Valley, Arizona was recovered from Lake Powell. Mr. Taranto was one of two remaining victims missing from the April 25th boating accident. The accident has now claimed the lives of three persons. The search continues for the last missing person.

The search is being coordinated by the National Park Service with the assistance of the Kane and San Juan counties’ Sheriff’s offices, Utah State Parks, and the Utah Department of Public Safety utilizing sonar.
