A road collapse south of Page has closed US-89 until further notice. US-89 is closed northbound at US-89A. In Page, US 89 is closed at the junction with State Route 98. Traffic is being detoured around closure utilizing SR-98 & US-160. US-89A is open. More »

Lake Powell Mercury Consumption Advisory

Kids enjoy amphitheater programs such as this special presentation of "Conrad's Great Adventure", a puppet show about water conservation.
Glen Canyon is a great family destination. The rock formations will delight, and the water will excite kids as well as adults. There are an abundance of opportunities for children to get out of the car and explore. Kids also enjoy the short interpretive talks and walks offered spring through fall. Stop at the visitor center to check current schedules, and take some time to view the exhibits and perhaps the park's orientation video.
