7/28/03   These pictures were taken on Highway 2 just outside the west entrance as the Robert Fire started to make it's descent down the Apgar Range. Click on images for a larger version.
             
       
 

     
7/29/03   The Robert Fire progressed quickly across the Apgar Range and burned portions of Apgar Mountain. The pictures below were taken from Highway 2 as helicopters and planes battled the fire. Click on images for a larger version.
             
       
             
       
 

     
7/30/03   Controlled Burnouts on Apgar Mountain were conducted to stop the advancement of the Robert Fire from reaching Apgar Village. Helicopters and CanadaAir CL-215 planes dumped water around the Burnout area.
