The St. Mary Webcam is located on the St. Mary Visitor Center looking southwest toward Red Eagle Mountain and the peaks surrounding St. Mary Lake. Meadows in the foreground are favored by elk in the winter and coyotes and hawks hunt for rodents in them all summer long. Strong winds blowing down from the Continental Divide in the distance are a common feature of the St. Mary Valley.
