WEST GLACIER, MONT. - Glacier National Park concessioner operating hours will begin to change as fall approaches. Some concessioners stop providing service in early September while others remain open until mid-October. The park remains open year-round with many opportunities for outdoor activities in all types of weather.

 *The historic Granite Park Chalet is available for overnight use as a rustic hiker shelter.

 *Glacier Park Lodge and the Prince of Wales Hotel are located outside the park, but managed by GPI.

**Hiker Shuttle provides connecting service from the Many Glacier area to the National Park Service Going-to-the-Sun Road transit system which operates July 1 -Sept. 3, 2012.

***East side shuttle service to trailheads and hotels between East Glacier and Waterton, Alberta, CA. Shuttle will not operate between Chief Mt. Border Crossing and the Prince of Wales hotel after September 18.
