What: This annual event is a chance to learn about resource issues and educational opportunities available throughout Montana.

Glacier National Park and Glacier Institute Climate Change Teacher Workshop

What: Glacier National Park Climate Change Teacher Workshop
Who: Glacier National Park Education, Crown of the Continent Research Learning Center, Glacier Institute staff, Park researchers, United States Geological Survey scientists, and other Resource Professionals to do presentations and to take teachers out in the field to learn about their research and how it relates to climate change.
When: Usually the last week in June each year. We are applying for grants to host this workshop the week of June 22, 2015. Please check back in February 2015 to confirm it is being held and how to apply.
Where: Glacier Institute Field Camp, West Glacier, Montana
Cost: Free* - includes lodging, meals, and travel during the workshop. (Transportation to and from the workshop and meals outside of workshop hours are not included.) Eighteen teachers will be selected from all over the United States. Applications and more detailed information is available at .

Annual Waterton-Glacier Science and History Day

What: Researchers from Waterton-Glacier International Peace park present 20 minute summaries of their research.
Who: Various national park researchers. Presenters to be announced.
When: 9:30 - 3:30 p.m., usually at the end of July.
Where: In 2015, Glacier National Park will be the host with the location to be announced.
Cost: Free!

Flathead Community of Resource Educators (CORE) Educational Trunk Workshop

What: This hands-on workshop will give educators an opportunity to explore the many educational trunks available for loan in the Flathead region.
Who: Hosted by community organizations/participants in Flathead CORE. This workshop is open to teachers, youth group leaders, home schools, daycares, afterschool programs and any similar groups looking for hands-on materials about local natural/cultural resources.
When: Usually the third Thursday in October (10/15/15 date is still to be confirmed).
Where: Location to be anounced, generally somewhere in the Flathead Valley. Previous locations included Lone Pine State Park and the Flathead National Forest Supervisor's Office in Kalispell, MT.
Cost: Free!
