The Skulls Trunk contains all of the materials to help students learn more about animal identification through bone structure; predator/prey relationships; and differences between carnivore, herbivore, and omnivore teeth.
This trunk comes with several excellent lesson plans for all ages, but is best suited for 3rd-12th graders. The trunk contains Animal Skulls: A Guide for Teachers, Naturalists, and Interpreters by Richard S. White Jr, which is excellent resource for teachers looking for curriculum-based lesson plans related to skulls. The book offers a range of lesson plans varying from understanding bone structures to identification of animals through their bones.
