2003 NPS GIS Awards
GIS Users in and around the National Park Service were nominated for the biennial NPS GIS Awards in 2003. Each case represents an innovative, urgent, thoughtful and successful piece of work done in a GIS environment in support of a National Park. The following individuals and teams were nominated by others in the NPS community familiar with their work and its impact on park operations, resource and visitor protection, and the overall mission of the agency.
