1st Telecon Announcement Email

First off I want to apologize for the rather large file size and forgetting to put a subject line on the last email.

Looks like the consensus is next Tuesday (May 11) at noon Mountain time (2PM Eastern, 1PM Central, 12noon Mountain, 11AM Pacific, 10AM AK, and 9AM HI). I anticipate this initial call will last ~1Hr. The dial in number is: 877-989-1671 x439165.

There are many, many, folk on this telecon so we will attempt to make this effort concise and relatively painless. What will we discuss?

  • Introduction(s)
  • Overview
  • Charter(?)
      • working rules (agree to play nicely in the sandbox)
    • Large Group meeting(s)
    • Work group(s) heirchy
      • Starting Task(s)
      • Group meeting times

To help expedite the introduction process please visit http://data2.itc.nps.gov/gis/webm/webm.cfm and fill out the form. Note: this is NOT an exhaustive treatise of an expertise but an introduction of capabilities, abilities, and interests (see examples below).

Again thank you all for your time and energies

    David & Joe
