This poster was originally prepared for the initial scoping session of the Northeast Coastal and Barrier Network .The scoping session brought together scientist and natural resource specialist from the NPS, other federal agencies (USGS, BRD; USFWS, NOAA, EPA) and researcher partners from academia. It provides an overview of Colonial National Historical Park's natural resources, uses and issues including visitor use, endangered species, shoreline change, and damage. The positive response from the park's Interpretative Division has led the park's GIS specialist and Natural Resource Manager to work on the adapting the poster for exhibiting in the park's visitor centers.
