Exercise 3: Woodland Home Forest Fire Hazard Rating and the Wildland Urban Interface
Fire Information specialists are using the Woodland Home Forest Fire Hazard Rating to educate homeowners at the wildland/urban interface in FireWise techniques. GIS is used to display the assessment data and provide homeowners with maps of the assessment. GPS data is collected at nearest water sources, photo-points and access roads.Exercise Objectives:

- Create final project maps from an ArcView layout document.
