2:00 PM

We at Fort Wadsworth are in the planning stages of developing a Memorial Quilt to honor the Bicentennial celebration of the War of 1812. Being influenced by this little known milestone in United States history, we at the park would like to honor the event with a Community Quilt made by locals. It will then hang in the Visitor's Center. The more people from the community to participate will make this an event that honors the history of Staten Island as well as its people.
At the sewing sessions we will have guest rangers speaking about life outside the battle. Call for reservations: 718-354-4500
