Arson Awareness Week: Community Arson Prevention May 2-8, 2010
It is Arson Awareness Week, and the National Volunteer Fire Council is teaming up with the U.S. Fire Administration to focus attention on the horrific crime of arson and provide communities with tools and strategies to combat arson in their neighborhoods, businesses, schools, and places of worship. The 2010 theme is Community Arson Prevention. Use this week to focus public attention on the value of community arson prevention and the resources and support available to reduce this crime.
