SPRING HOURS AT MILITARY PARK

 

      Spring hours of operations for all public buildings of Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park go into effect starting on Sunday, April 12, 2009.  Ellwood operations will resume later, on Saturday, May 2, 2009.

 

Starting April 12, 2009

The new hours effective Sunday April 12 will be as follows:

Fredericksburg Battlefield Visitor Center

weekdays, 9-5,

weekends, 9-6


Chancellorsville Battlefield Visitor Center

weekdays, 9-5

weekends, 9-6

Chatham Manor:  daily, 9-4:30

"Stonewall" Jackson Shrine:  daily, 9-5

Wilderness Exhibit Shelter: staffed most weekends and Memorial Day,
10:30-12:15 and 1:45-5:15

Spotsylvania Court House Exhibit Shelter:  staffed most weekends and Memorial Day,
10-6

 

Starting May 2, 2009

In addition to the hours listed above, the following activity will be added on May 2:

Ellwood:  open weekends and Memorial Day, 11-5 
          

             This schedule is anticipated to remain in effect through Thursday, June 11, after which the full summer program will take effect. For additional information, call either of the visitor centers at
