A 19th Century Christmas at Ellwood Manor

On Saturday, December 15, Friends of Wilderness Battlefield (FoWB) will host this 4th annual holiday event.
The doors will open at 9 a.m. and guests may visit until closing at 2 p.m. The 18th century home will be decorated for the Christmas season by the Fawn Lake Garden Club. FoWB's volunteer interpreters will be on hand to welcome all visitors.
A schedule of activities is listed below. For those hoping to visit with Santa, please note the times.
9 AM - 11 AM: Santa will be in house
Children are invited to join in the fun of making seasonal arts and crafts
Cookies and punch
Tours of the house
11 AM - 2 PM: Period Christmas music by Evergreen Shade
Readings of Christmas letters from Civil War soldiers every half hour beginning at 11:30

The open house is free to the public. Donations are always welcome.
